Have had almost 1 month and used consistently in a professional setting. Because of the higher speed the blades definitely heat up faster; Must be careful not to injure an animal by switching blades or use something like Kool Lube or Clipper Cool spray frequently. Only use higher speeds when truly necessary for smoother cut. Slow speeds great on sensitive areas.

These are truly a lighter weight clipper and because of the shape of the rubberized casing they are much easier on my hands, shoulder and upper back. I'm pleased with my purchase and I'll update this review if any problems arise.

For a novice pet owner who's learning to groom their animal, I recommend getting proper instruction before using this clipper because of the higher chance of causing clipper burn.

Highly recommend for professional pet- or show-grooming or by someone who's already familiar with clipper/blade usage and maintenance.
