My husband and I purchased a Maltese puppy (Tilly) when we were going through law school and we needed a bag to keep her in and so that we could take her to class every day. We purchased this similar bag. The bag was great, as it has flaps and the flaps open and close. If you don't want someone to know you have a dog in the bag, close the flaps. Also, if it is cold outside, close the flaps. Open the flaps when the weather is nice - or warm and the dog needs air - or you want the dog to be seen. We took her to class and no one evr knew she was in there (of course she never barked). We wore the bag out.
